Beautiful 5 Bedroom / 2 Bathroom home on the sunset side of Black Lake, just outside of Onaway, Michigan. Minutes away from Black Lake UAW golfcourse, and adjacent to Onaway State Park. 1/4 mile from 211 Bar and Grille. 100 feet of private sandy beach frontage out your backdoor! Private stone firepit in the sand. soft shallow (less than 3 feet of water ) sandbar goes for about 300 yards directly out behind house.
We are available in the Fall for your hunting excursions,with access to thousands of acres of state land within 5 minutes of the property!!
We are centrally located near the Michigan snowmobile trail system! Come stay with us in winter! we have trail access on the north side of the lake @ The Bluffs, and 5 miles to the south in Onaway.

Summary: The property manager was the absolute sweetest lady. Really made checking in seem less. The lake house is wonderful! As a family with 3 boys, the lake being steps from the back porch was perfect. The sandy bottom lake was where almost all our time was spent. I’ve never walked so far into a lake where the water wasn’t even to my shoulders. So cool! The fire pit was awesome, all the kitchen utensils were helpful. Truly a lovely place to relax. The deck furniture was comfortable and the stars light up the night. 50 minutes from the bridge and 15 minutes from Ocqueoc Falls. We had a very enjoyable vacation and 3 very tired kids after spending 10-12 hours in the lake each day. Thank you!

Summary: Overall a great stay. Owner was very communicative, accommodating, and helpful. You can’t beat the beach here with three nine year olds! It really is hundreds of yards of sandy bottom beach out into the lake. Not good on this end for fishing but great for the kids to splash around and have fun. Fire pit was great, deck was great and gave us stunning sunsets. The house was clean and offered enough space for all ten of us and two refrigerators was a blessing. A few things to consider that prevented the five star rating: WiFi is not great. Bedrooms barely connected if at all. Furniture is a bit rough. Although comfy, I think we are still picking pieces of the delaminating chair off of our clothes. Mattresses may need to be replaced soon. Showers are rough, with very little pressure and the upstairs shower head is very low. Also bring your own measuring cups if needed. There are only two there. These items may be picky, but just some feedback to make it even better. Thanks for a great memory!

Summary: The house was very nice with a great kitchen, lots of bedrooms, and beautiful views of the lake and sunsets. The beach was great, too. We had relatives staying a few doors down, so this was a perfect location for us to spend time with them!

Summary: Our family of 3 couples,1 baby and 3 dogs enjoyed beach time, yard games and cooking together in this spacious home. The homes are close together, but the neighborhood and lake were surprisingly quiet.

Summary: Liked how 4 bedrooms were away from the living room with children. Really like the sandbar with young kids. I would say the only down fall is showers having a lower water pressure. The first couple feet walking into the lake has allot of debris from being in east side of the lake but after that really nice sand. Beautiful sunsets, nice people in the area. Would stay there again!

Summary: The owner of the property met us there to let us in and was so very helpful and nice. The house itself was great and lots of beds and plenty of room and very clean. The yard was big and had a great beach area. The lake was clean and huge. All around great stay. Only downfall was check out time. It was 9am and wished it could’ve been a little later. Highly recommended

Summary: This house was perfect for families , plenty of room for everyone and fully stocked kitchen. House is right on the beach with a dock and full of a nice sandy area for kids to play. Nice fire pit on the beach too. Lots of amenities for kids like a baby gate, crib and baby bath.

Summary: We had a group of 10 adults looking to get away for the weekend and had an amazing time. The house is very clean and has everything you need for a larger group. The beach is so nice, sandy, no weeds, and beautiful view. Due to the proximity of the neighbors I would recommend this for a family vacation spot not for a loud group (like us).
